Update Your Building Inspection Skills in Preparation for the REIBH :

The AIBQ, a training organization designated by the Government of Quebec, is a provider recognized by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec to provide 30 hours of refresher training, based on the new BNQ 3009-500 standard, to enable all active inspectors to obtain the category 1 competency certificate, due September 30, 2027.

Indeed, starting in October 2027, in order to comply with the Regulation respecting the supervision of residential building inspectors for inspections concerning a real estate transaction (REIBH), all inspectors practicing in this field will be required to hold a certificate of competence from the Régie du bâtiment du Québec and to comply with the BNQ 3009-500 standard, Residential Building – Practices for inspection with a view to a real estate transaction.

Our training is provided by professional trainers in inspection and teaching, in an atmosphere of exchange and sharing of knowledge in order to achieve the best practices in the profession.

That Training is Offered to all Inspectors Working in Quebec*

This training will begin in fall 2024 and other cohorts are planned for the winter and spring 2025 sessions.
